QUESTION

What are my options in this first offense DUI arrest?

More details to this question:
Hello, I'm a 21 year old fresh grad from UW with a BA in political science. Clean record. I was coming home from a bar and I didn't signal when taking a right turn, a police officer pulled me over for that and smelled alcohol in the car. Told me to get out. I didn't do the sobriety tests, he arrested me, detained me, and took me to the station. I took a breathalyzer and blew a .108 and a .105...the legal limit in Washington State is .08. He let me go the same night. Stamped a hole in my license and my car was impounded. I have 20 days to request a hearing from the DOL. What are my options?

Hire an attorney and have a consultation with him/her because there are certain things you will need to understand as you go forward.? DUI cases are complicated and can't be explained without all the necessary info beforehand.

Hire an attorney to represent you, you may be able to plead to a lesser charge if the attorney cannot challenge probable cause or the reliability of the breathalyzer to have the charges dismissed.
