QUESTION

What are my son’s rights against a probation violation?

Asked on Jan 25th, 2012 on Criminal Law - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
My son is in jail on a probation violation. He was not allowed out to attend his court date. The case proceeded without him and he was not told of the outcome. Doesn't he have the right to be in court and know what took place? He has just got picked up because his license was revoked ( the outcome of the court date) without his knowledge.
