What are the consequences for a first gun charge?

A gun was found in a car with five guys up under the back-seat cushion. The driver and one other person was charged.

With no criminal history probably probation in a larger county like Allegheny or Philadelphia. These cases where a gun is found in a common area, and not on any one person, are hard to prove. I suggest getting a lawyer.
