More details to this question:
After feeling a bump like a pothole and hearing a loud noise, I pulled over into a turning lane of a divided 4 lane road and saw a motorcycle lying in the median. I thought I must have run over a piece of debris from an accident. I did a U-turn, pulled up along the median next to the motorcycle, noticed my tire was going flat, and saw other motorists calling 911 and trying to help the motorcyclist. I called my spouse and told them what happened, saw the police and the ambulance show up, and decided to find a safe place to park and call the police. I pulled up to the next intersection and turned right, and then right into the first parking lot out of the road. I then called 911 and told them where I was and that I may have been in an accident. This call was 11 minutes after the accident. I have been charged with Felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident that resulted in death.
