What are the possible charges that I will be suffering?

More details to this question:
I was pulled over because the passenger of the vehicle did not have his seat belt on. I had no insurance. They impound my car for this matter of having .5gramd of marijuana. But the person that handed the officer the cigarette containing weed was giving a $250 ticket. We were both release. I got my driver license taken away for no insurance and the vehicle because of the .5 gram of weed. I just want to know what will happen. I don’t do drugs and was not aware that the passenger was dirty. So if I get non insurance now, what would happen to me? I just need assistance on what steps to take.

Get insurance and fight the possession case. You can't be held criminally liable if you did not know about the dope. Get a lawyer and fight this matter. The government has to prove that you knew the dope was there and you do not have to prove innocence.

It is not clear from your question what citations you actually received. I'm assuming that you received a traffic citation. When you appear in court if you are not able to provide proof that you had insurance in effect on the date of the infraction, your license will be suspended. The court is authorized to order vehicle immobilization and impoundment of the license plates at the time of sentencing for: Any driver and/or owner who fails to show proof that financial responsibility was in effect at the time of an accident/offense/random selection will lose his/her driving and registration privileges for a maximum of two years.
