What can I do about false child abuse reports filed against me by my ex?

More details to this question:
I have an ugly custody battle ongoing. My ex made false child abuse reports 5 total. All reports are now UNFOUNDED by Children youth services. Local police department notified me they have to do their own investigation and close case. They asked me to take a polygraph. I declined because I am tired of the in justice and the fact he original told me he could prosecute my ex wife for false reports. Since I declined to take polygraph He claims he has to do a full investigation then and interview everyone. Why cant he close it based on Child services findings? Should I take polygraph?
You need a criminal defense attorney to advise you after you tell him all of the facts. Generally, polygraphs are not advisable. The results are not admissible in court and you could fail it even if you are innocent. These questions are difficult to advise on without knowing ALL of the facts. My advice is to consult with a criminal defense attorney. Some may not charge a consultation fee. Even if he or she does, it will be worth it.
