What can I do for a revoked license for failure to appear for speeding ticket?

More details to this question:
I was stopped yesterday only much to my surprise be told my license was revoked and have it taken from me for a ticket I got 2 years ago. I thought the ticket had long been taken care of by the attorney I took it to. I had since moved to another county and never heard anything else about it and certainly didn't know it had been rescheduled 5 different times and the last date over a year after the ticket shows me failing to appear for something I knew nothing about and now my license is gone!
You should can take your original attorney to determine what the hell has been going on, and if you get no satisfaction engage in other attorney to get this matter straightened out with the court. It would appear that you have at least an equitable defense.
You have two options. The first is simply to go to the municipality where you got the ticket and pay it. The other is to hire another attorney to get a compliance certificate for you by motion. Either way, you get the compliance certificate and take it to the local driver's license bureau and give the certificate to the bureau and pay the reinstatement fee of $20. If you elect to pay yourself, make sure to ask clerk for compliance certificate.
Contact your former attorney and find out what happened. Or hire a new attorney to lift the warrant for you and get your ticket amended so you can get your license reinstated.
