QUESTION

What can I do if I am a first time offender charged with false reporting?

Asked on Apr 23rd, 2015 on Criminal Law - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I owned a store in pa and called 911 to report an armed robbery. To the best of my knowledge it happened but I have to consider that I have a history of false memories with other mental issues including PTSD and a traumatic brain injury. I have since closed the store and am being treated at the VA, no insurance claim was filed for the robbery and I didn’t have insurance. Which is what they are saying I did.

You need an attorney. You possibly may have a defense and if not, you may be eligible for a first time offender's program which would let you finish a program and result in no criminal record.
