QUESTION

What can I do legally if someone hacked my computer?

Asked on Mar 06th, 2012 on Criminal Law - Texas
More details to this question:
My ex put a remote keylogger into my computer and also hacked into my email address. The reason I know it was my ex was because I found his IP address in my email under the recent activity tab. I also took my computer to best buy and geek squad removed the keylogger. Is there a way that I can press charges against this person? Also can he use any of my information that he found using the keylogger against me?

Call the police and make a report. Then the police will contact the District Attorney. And sounds like you need to move out.
