i was recently involved in a crash. i was moving from the middle lane to the left, i made sure it was clear, signaled and then fully moved into the left lane. the person behind me sped up a large amount and tried to use the left turn lane to illegally pass me and overtake my vehicle. as a result they ended up side swiping my vehicle while moving to get infront of me and then proceeding to brake check me. They have gotten an attorney, lied to police of the real events that took place and are supposedly injured as a result of the accident they caused. i have no dash cam and no buisness near the site has cameras that record. i am at a loss and do not know what to do.

You should seek medical attention immediately and then retain a personal injury attorney here in Florida to collect evidence so you can file a claim against the at fault driver. This is a tough case but some of us take on these types of files.
