QUESTION

What do I need to do if I was arrested for DUI?

Asked on Jun 15th, 2013 on DUI/DWI - Missouri
More details to this question:
On the night of my arrest for driving under the influence, I had consumed two beers totally 32 ounces in a 9 hour period. I got arrested for extreme driving under the influence even though I choose not to drink because of my lack of drunk driving. I admitted to the small amount of alcohol that I had drunk because I figured there was no way I would be over the legal limit. I was only given 1 field sobriety test which I was told later in the process that my eyes were fine. I was totally coherent and able to answer all of arresting officer's questions quickly and accurately. They didn't take me to jail nor did they tow my car. The arresting officer called me a cab and waited with me for an hour for the cab driver to show up.

Was there an alcohol test? If not and they give not offer one, how are they going to show intoxication? Get a lawyer.

You need to hire a DUI specialist, and do it soon because you have only 10 days to save your license.

If you had 32 ounces, that is the equivalent of three beers. You may have been legally drunk. You need to talk to an attorney to prepare your defense.
