What do I need to do to get my gun rights back?

More details to this question:
I had a very small amount of a controlled substance in California back in 2001, which was a felony only because I was on state property. I was an active hunter and I wish to continue my sport.

There is no way to get your gun rights back under current federal law.

I am not sure that having the charge reduced and then dismissed pursuant to 120304 will work but give it a try.

You cannot get your gun rights back if you were convicted of a felony. Contact the NRA.
