What do I plea after being caught shoplifting today for $50?

I have a felony theft conviction from 4 years ago (not retail theft). I served 2 year probation. My current charge from today is in another state and a misdemeanor. I'm pretty sure I will have to pay fines, community service, etc. but I would like to do my best to avoid jail time and would like to be sentenced that day. I currently have a 1 year old. I have court in 5 days and not sure what to plea
