A dismissed case means that charges were filed but you were never convicted of anything. So, you don't have anything on your record. I don't understand what you mean by "I went to court for continuous". Continuances? In any event, you should check with your lawyer to make sure your case was dismissed.

If your case was dismissed with prejudice, it means the case was dismissed but the prosecutor has the right to re-file the charge against you later. If it was dismissed without prejudice, then your case was dismissed and the prosecutor can't re-file again later. "Dismissed" means your case is no longer in the court system and you don't have to appear in court. Call the court clerk to confirm that your case was really dismissed.

If your case was dismissed it means that the city attorney/district attorney did not pursue the charges or citation against you and the matter was concluded by order of the Court.
