It depends on what other evidence there is. You sound like you have several issues. If you never gave him permission to search your car, you may want to file a motion to suppress. The fact that he got fired is potentially exculpatory, but that does not automatically mean your charges are dismissed. For example, if there's a video recording of you saying you knew the drugs were in the car, you are still going to have a difficult time.
You should talk to your attorney. They should know what to do when this kind of situation pops up.
