QUESTION
What happens when you get a second DUI charge?
Asked on Feb 01st, 2012 on DUI/DWI - Missouri
More details to this question:
How does a DUI charge, that was not convicted seventeen years ago, typically affect prosecutor's recommendations for a second DUI charge?
1 ANSWER
If you pled guilty to the first one, it will increase the charge from a B misdemeanor to an A misdemeanor and the prosecutor will be less likely to give you a recommendation that does not involve a conviction. If you did not plead guilty to the first one, it should not have an effect.
