My docket sheet says inactive case status.. i didnt know i had the charges until a employer ran a background check. Ive never received a summons n court papers the police has never contacted me either. What does this mean. The chrages were filed april 29th its neen 5 months

Typically it means the court did not know where to serve you with papers and/or a warrant. I would call the court where the complaint was filed and find out.
