QUESTION

what is expected for a minor who had a traffic violation?

Asked on Apr 22nd, 2017 on Traffic Violations - California
More details to this question:
My son is 16 years and he has a driving permit and once he was driving his dad's car taking his younger brother to church at 4:30 pm but he's been stopped for speeding and had a traffic violation for unlicensed too. Now we are requesting to show in court before a specific date. I don't know what to do? And what's expected to happen to my so? Should I have an attorney with my son that day or no need? Thanks

Best advice, hire an attorney to appear on your son's behalf (you can skip court) to try and have the matter dismissed.
