.2..... that is over 2x the legal limit. If it is your first DUI and you are convicted, the MINIMUM penalty is 2 days in jail, fines and costs of roughly $2,000.00, alcohol/drug evaluation and follow recommended treatment, DUI victim panel, AA or other support groups attendance a minimum of 2x per week for the duration of probation (which is 5 years), one year loss of license, followed by one year of ignition interlock, SR 22 insurance (high risk insurance).

If you don't fight it, you will have a 6-9 month DUI class, fine, probation and possible increased punishment because of the high BAC.

The first thing that will happen is that you will retain an experienced lawyer. The penalty which I think is what concerns you, depends upon a number of factors, including how many prior convictions you have had for similar offenses in the past ten years, whether there was an accident or other seriously bad driving, and nowadays, and very importantly, whether you have begun some treatment program for substance abuse.
