More details to this question:
My son just a traffic speeding ticket doing 40 over the speed limit. He had a year ago in Tallahasee a charge of reckless driving. It was a DUI but he was not drinking and they lowered it to reckless driving. Do I need a lawyer and what is he facing. He has signed up for the school. He is a student, senior at FSU and will be returning on Aug. 24th The hearing is Sept 6th. We are so upset and need legal help. Parent

Yes, I would recommend a lawyer for most criminal offenses, especially DUIs.
