If I had to guess, he is charged with a first degree felony and he is facing 5 to 99 years in jail. If you can afford it, the two options you have are to bond him out and or hire a criminal defense attorney. There is not much else you can do for him. You should make an appointment with a criminal defense attorney to give you a better idea.
