what is on a backround check?

More details to this question:
if someone was charged with a crime(theft)and completed the PTI program and released by the court is this on the background check??

you should have the arrest expunged so that you can state that you have never been arrested. we do expungements. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600

It depends on the type of background check.  If you are going for a simple employmnet based check, then it will not show up.  If however, you apply to be a police officer, or for some level of security clearance for governmental or military positions, it could appear.
