QUESTION

What is the difference between road side breath tests vs police station tests?

Asked on Jul 27th, 2013 on DUI/DWI - Georgia
More details to this question:
I was stopped at a roadblock, I refused a breath test on the road. As soon as I got to the police station I asked for a breathalyzer and a blood test. They refused both and it only took 10-15 min to get to the station GA aren’t they required to give you one at the station?

You have the right to refuse under GA implied consent law, which it sounds like you did. You will have 10 days to appeal the suspension of your license. In GA, the refusal suspension is stiff 1 year with no permit at all.
