You do jail time in the county where you were sentenced.

Lancaster is a little unique; being far up north, there is a separate county facility that is not the same as the one in downtown LA where most people in LA county serve. Have you already been convicted?

This is a question you should address to your attorney. You should have been told what jail to report to.

You probably will be sent downtown. You can arrange to go to a more private jail in Glendale-with the court's permission. You have to pay there.

That is up to that Sheriffs Dept or that court. Youll have to ask them.

The court will have ordered you where to pre-book to serve your sentence.

Where you serve your time in Los Angeles County jail is entirely up to the Sheriff's Department. That being said, you will most likely be processed through the Central Jail facility. You can either stay there or they can place you at the Twin Towers (which is across the street from the Central Jail) or at Wayside Honor Ranch which is located out by Magic Mountain. Good luck.
