What should I do after being charged with forgery? I have only ever been charged with traffic tickets, nothing major. Also, my identity has been stolen before which may have something to do with this, although I do not have proof.

Forgery is a crime of moral turpitude, and if convicted you can kiss your career aspirations goodbye. Hire a lawyer before you get duped into a plea you will regret for life.

you need an attorney I have handled many ID theft cases and forgery cases. Lets discuss representation. Forgery is a felony and you do not want that on your record.
