What should I do if my ex girlfriend has completely lost her mind. She has been messaging people including my employer slandering my name with false

More details to this question:
My ex is accusing me of theft and is now making false accusations that I raped her when I would never do anything like that. She knows I would never do that and does not care what that would do to my life all while knowing it’s not true. Anyone who knows me knows I would never rape someone. I have proof she is lying about the rape and I hope that will prove she is lying about so many other things it’s so crazy. Just made up a complete false reality and trying to make it facts. I honestly need someone to help represent me. I don’t need anything but my name cleared and hopefully pay the attorney fees. I just don’t want to be able to do this to someone and get away with it
Falsly accusing someone of a crime is considered slander per se in Michigan. What that means is that you do not even have to show actual monetary damages to recover in a civil lawsuit. However, based on what you have described, it certainly sounds like you have suffered damages. Feel free to contact my office to discuss your options, including demanding that she stop slandering you, and filing a lawsuit against her to recover money damages..
