QUESTION

What steps can I take to have my records expunged?

Asked on Jun 12th, 2013 on Expungements - Missouri
More details to this question:
I had a few cases about 5 years ago that was minor drug related. I understand through the court that these cases I have can be expunged. I'm looking for employment and feel that my background check is holding me back. Are there lawyers that would help me get them expunged Pro Bono? Or is there any other avenue I can take? I have no money to pay for a lawyer. Thank you for any help/ advice you can give me.

Drug-related offenses can not be expunged from your criminal record. Only a few types of misdemeanors and felonies are eligible for expungement but anything drug-related doesn't qualify for expungement.
