What to do if arrested while visiting New Jersey from Ireland?

More details to this question:
I was arrested in New Jersey, along with a friend who I was visiting. I was charged with Drunk and Disorderly plus resisting arrest. What shall I do? I have picked Legal Topic "DUI/DWI" as I am not sure what category my topic fits in to. Thank You.

the resisting arrest can be the more serious charge if the police report indicates that the officers were in danger or were given a difficult time. the judge will support his officers. i would have to review the police report and speak with the prosecutor. an apology to the police is always helpful. please call and we can discuss. mu daughter went to university of cork. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235
