More details to this question:
There was an arrest for having a gun without a license he served 2 if his 3 years then had 3 years of probation. While on probation he go a nothing case for assault which was then withdrew because they never brought him to court from jail but he was sent back to jail to finish his time from the first case because of the second one what should we do next

Did he have his final probation revocation hearing yet? If so, he needs to petition the court for early parole. If not, it needs to be fought at the revocation hearing.
