The law in Colorado states that when a second offense for DUI occurs within 5 years of a prior offense, the sentence imposed by the court must be completed in the county jail. If this was your first and second DUI's, then you be facing a minimum of 30 days jail. There are many reasons why that sentence would be harsher though: the short time between the two cases, possible violation of probation or bond and lack of maintaining sobriety. Basically, you could be looking at a very severe sentence from the court. Hiring an experienced criminal defense and DUI attorney is imperative.
