More details to this question:
I was recently pulled over for my 3rd DUI. I have a good job, I am a family man and was 18 months sober before drinking and getting pulled over. Furthermore, I am on a restricted license. Is there any change to get it dropped to a 2nd offense?

Getting it dropped to a second offense depends on many factors including all the facts in the case. Get a good lawyer. Go to AA and have a sign in sheet. Get into counseling. Stop drinking. All these will help.

It depends on the county and prosecutor. Yes, it can; however I can't predict your outcome. If your county has a sobriety court and you participate; you may be able to get a restricted driver's license after awhile (about 45 days, sometimes longer); however, without a sobriety court, you will not even be eligible for another restricted license for 5 years and then only if you go to AA starting now and until your hearing. The DAAD usually wants 5 to 10 years of sobriety with AA after a third offense.

You are likely looking at a felony and a revoked license. Hire a skilled local attorney ASAP.

Depends where you got charged but it is likely you will do 6 months. You might get work release.

Highly doubtful unless there are problems with your case. Only an experience DUI attorney would know what to look for in terms of defenses or deficiencies that could get you a better plea deal. A third offense is a felony and jail or prison time is a strong likelihood as well as having your license revoked for life.
