What will getting a misdemeanor while on probation result and how can I avoid getting this on my record?

I am on probation for selling cigarettes to a minor and just received a ticket for disorderly conduct.

Retain a good criminal lawyer to get the violation dismissed and avoid a conviction that can ruin your chances of getting a decent job. Even a Disorderly Conduct can make it difficult to get a decent job in this tough economy.

The only way to avoid getting this on your record is to either work out a deal where it does not go on your record or beat the case. Go get a good attorney.

You should hire a lawyer, who has a much better chance than you of negotiating with the Judge for a dismissal. It would be a waste for you to have a criminal record and go to jail over such a minor offense. Hire a lawyer to go to court before they violate your probation.

Technically, you violated probation by picking up a new charge. It depends on the county you're in as to whether it's charged as a probation violation-or whether it's charged at all. Some County DA's are no longer filing the little misdemeanors.

Your subsequent (new case) is probably a violation of the terms of your probation on the old case. Since you are on probation, the judge could penalize you under that case, Plus, you now have to deal with the new charge. How to avoid it being on your record: without the facts, I cannot answer that. There may be no way to avoid it.
