What will happen if I used my sister’s name when I was pulled over?

When I was pulled over, I gave my sisters name and she went to court, plead not guilty and she was told I had to appear to tell who was driving my car if not her. If I didn't appear a felony warrant would be issued for my arrest. She said they wanted to have an ID hearing. I am a little confused. I plan on going and saying I gave them false information. I was pulled over for not having a license plate light.
