What will happen if my friend’s ex allowed her to use card during relationship and now it's over, he denies allowing her?

My friend’s ex-boyfriend allowed her to use card for bills and other things for a year and half. He moved out, still uses her address but now is saying he didn't give permission. The bank is investigating. The girlfriend has no prior s in this. What happens during investigation? Will she be arrested at work home? How long will she get? Can she fight it?

She has the right to remain silent. Only idiots talk to investigators/cops. Remember, no matter what she says it will be twisted around and used against her later.
