What will I do to file an appeal?

I want to file an appeal for a criminal case, it was originally for an illegal u-turn I had a paid attorney who assured me that because the officer asked if he could search for firearms and found an altoid box with methamphetamine in it, it turned into a criminal felony case because of a prior case that happened over 6 years ago. He also stated it was profiling I am a victim of electromagnetic torture so I do hear voices and I didn't realize what I had done until after I got into my car.
