Probably you will get time since you do not learn from past mistakes.

You should retain a good criminal lawyer since you have a long history of theft offenses. Your decision making is not good since you are risking a year in jail for beef jerky. Some people just do not learn a lesson and judges are forced to give them a year in jail to let hem know that they cannot keep committing crimes.

If you are being charged with a felony, it is possible to be sentenced to jail. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your case. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

If you have been convicted of the prior offenses, this is being brought as a felony and you can go to prison for however much time your sentencing guidelines score sheet says.
