What's the penalty for first offense retail theft with a battery charge?

More details to this question:
I was arrested outside of the city of Chicago with these two charges as a misdemeanor. I am 18 and this is my first arrest as an adult. I tried to steal some markers but pushed a lady out the way to run out the store when they tried to stop me. I was arrested after but I don't know what to expect at court. What should I do?
