My boyfriend is in jail and I have called his public defender several times asking her to take him his discovery packet she never calls back or answers her phone and he hasn't even met her yet she doesn't go talk to him or anything. It would be pretty stupid to send discovery into jail? What is a witness gets killed? And, why would a public defender talk to you? You are not even married to the guy much less the client of the public defender. If you really care about your boyfriend, why don't you hire a lawyer to help him?

The public defender may get the package at the first hearing date and does not have anything to give him yet.
