will a mis larceny citation show on job background check before you've went to court for it?

I am in orange co NC and haven't been to court for this yet but got a new job but can't start until they do my background check, which they've already started.....will this show on background check now??

That depends on which company is providing your potential employer with your background check. Some will provide only convictions, in which case it would not show, and some provide both convictions and charges, in which case, it would show. If your employer went down to the courthouse and asked for the record from the clerk in the county in which you were charged, it would definitely show on that one.
