More details to this question:
My son was out of jail on felony probation for theft. He fled out of state where he was attested and convicted of felony theft again. He is currently serving a 2 year DOC sentence in county jail. We have just learned that there is a new felony attest warrant for him for theft once again. He is also charged with drug possession and receiving stolen property.

He will be taken in custody to the county where the new case is pending unless you post bail.

If someone is in custody on felony charges and they have other felony charges pending elsewhere, they will probably be extradited to the new jurisdiction to deal with those charges before being released.
