Will I be able to get the misdemeanor expunged from my record?

More details to this question:
I have an misdemeanor for writing a bad check. The check was written in 1994 and I convicted for it in 2007. I paid the check and the fines. I am unable to get a decent job with this on my background will I be able to get this expunged from my records.
