QUESTION

Will I be arrested?

Asked on Feb 14th, 2020 on Criminal Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I had a court date scheduled for 01/28/2020, but I missed it, not knowing about the court date. I called the court to get it rescheduled, and was told one will come in the mail. I received a warrant which is dated 1/29/2020 the day before I called to get a new court date. I don't know if I will still be arrested when I have to appear for a court date that was already scheduled in another township.

I'm not sure what you mean by "another township," but if you called the court the day after a warrant was issued and they scheduled you for a new date without demanding that you come in to answer the warrant, then the court probably rescinded the warrant after you called.  If so, you will not be arrested when you appear, assuming that the warrant was issued for your failure to appear and not for something else.  To be safe, you should contact the court and confirm that they rescinded the warrant.
