More details to this question:
I got pulled over by Nj state hwy police coming from Pa,i refused a breathalyzer test. i was held for few hours without being charged with anything, i was given sevral tickets (recless driving, speeding, driving under the influence, failing to make lanes..etc) and a court date to appear in a Nj court. This is my first time, so do i face jail time, and if they suspend my licence in NJ do i loose my PA licence , what do i do next ?? Thanks.

the DUI and the 'refusal' are two separate charges with two separate sentences. you must address both charges ,as well as the other charges. do you have a clean driving record in pennsylvania ? this will make a difference. if you are convicted, you will lose your license to drive in NJ and you will have have insurance surcharges. they are significant. the NJ State Police have been remiss in providing 'discovery'. this has presented opportunities for us to have the DWI downgraded and in one cae, the charge was dismissed. we would like to represent you. pleasew call. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235
