QUESTION

Will I get in trouble for not completing my DUI classes on time?

Asked on Sep 06th, 2025 on Criminal Law - California
More details to this question:
On March 2025 the judge in Fullerton Orange County California sentenced me to 3 years informal probation, A 3 month alcohol deterrence program, and community service. The program is due by next week and I need an extension because I was not able to attend last month due to me registering late. The program told me to request an extension. I also didn’t have a job for the last classes available but now I do I just got hired somewhere. I been paying my monthly payments also. Will the judge grant me the extension? Or will I get in trouble.

If you had a lawyer -- private or public defender/court-appointed-- then you may want to ask this also of that person who represented you.  Yes, it can happen, but that depends upon the County.  It is best you speak with an experienced attorney licensed in California so you get the best answer to your question.

The response/answer provided is not legal advice nor does it form an attorney-client relationship.
