Will I go to jail for 2nd theft if the first case was dismissed?

More details to this question:
I was not arrested for the 2nd offense but I now have a pending charge. I was given diversion the first time and completed it. Now, this theft case is for $15.84. How can I get this dismissed?

You probably can't just get it dismissed. Most prosecutors won't offer a second diversion, but you can always ask.
