Will I go to jail for my gun charge since it’s a felony?

More details to this question:
I was in car with my girlfriend. We got pulled over. I had my cousins .357 revolver. They took us out the car and found it and charged me with possession of loaded firearm. They let me out of jail on a promise to show up to court. Will I go to jail? I don't have a record. I'm in school and play football.

Instead of worrying about the jail time, you need to focus your attention on how you can avoid being convicted. Time to shop for a lawyer.
