Asked on Mar 02nd, 2019 on Criminal Law - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I was arrested for my first offence State violation. I am on a 2 yr state sentence for filling a false police report. I bonded out with a $2,500 Bond. The following day I go to my state probation office and receive a drug test which I fail for meth. My state probation officer informs me he will be a filing an amendment on my warrant. What does that mean?

It will be up to the judge to decide whether to set a bond or allow you to stay in jail until the revocation hearing.
