More details to this question:
I got in a small fender bender. No injuries and just a scraped bumper on the gentleman I bumped into. I didn't have my insurance card on me because I thought my wife had it. To find out (when I called her), she thought I was taking care of auto insurance as we split bills. So I had no insurance at the time. So as my ticket was being written, she reinstated my auto insurance. So my card says I'm valid on the day of the accident but "technically" it was till 20 minutes after the accident. Since I didn't immediately show my card, i have court coming up. Driving is my livelihood and I cannot afford to have a suspension. This is my 1st offense in not showing a current card. I have 1 speeding ticket in the past 12 months and that is my only violation. I have current updated auto insurance.

It is important that you not only work with the Insurance Company, but also any Counsel you hire. It is important that you got insurance within the confines of the stop (Which may affect your insurance... you may be paying out of pocket). Mitigation is important in moving forward with offenses like this. Please call me to discuss futher, Nicholas Froning (2162025184).
