I was recently arrested for Petty Theft of $78 worth of merchandise. I am 17 years old and have no priors. Not even a traffic ticket. Should I plead guilty or not guilty?

Get a lawyer. You should be able to get the charges reduced and not have to plead guilty to a misdemeanor. You do not have to be sentenced to jail for this case.
