Will my DUI from a different state count as my second offense?

More details to this question:
"I received a dui in PA 4 years ago and had it expunged from my record. I was arrested for a dui in NJ on saturday. Does this count as my second offense even though it was in a different state?"

you should run your driver's abstrsct to determine if the PA dui appears on your record. if the dui does appear, this will make your case more difficult in NJ. i would focus upon winning the Nj dui case. if you win or have the case downgraded to a lower tier, then the PA dui conviction will not matter. please call if we can help. ed dimon
